The Netherlands has birthed a new musical talent Claude. The young and energetic singer burst onto the scene in 2022 when he was crowned winner of the talent show ARE YOU NEXT? Since this major accomplishment, he’s gone on to break all records. Signed to Cloud 9 Music, Claude’s catchy debut single 'Ladada (Mon Dernier Mot)' reached the Top 5 of the biggest Dutch hits ever within six months of its release, according to the Dutch Top 40 chart. The song was the most Shazamed track in the Netherlands for weeks, achieved Platinum Status and claimed the #1 position in Spotify’s Top 50 and Top 40. The successor of this monster hit is called 'Layla', this song immediately received massive support on the radio and was declared the most important track of that week by four of the biggest stations.

This major success sparked Claude to be nominated for a Top 40 Award under the category 'Best Newcomer (National)', for an Dutch Edison in the ‘Newcomer’ category and for two Radio 3FM Awards. The singer ended up winning the 3FM Award for ‘Best Newcomer’. Since the release of 'Ladada (Mon Dernier Mot)', Claude has become one of the most sought-after upcoming artists in the Netherlands. His first official performance was in the iconic Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, a concert hall with a staggering capacity of 17,000 people. A start that many artists only dare to dream of! Claude has also been announced as the supporting act for Stromae, with this show he would have performed in the Ziggo Dome three times. Unfortunately, Stromae’s visit has been temporarily postponed. During the Dutch King's Day, Claude performed for 40,000 people. In addition, he gave a special concert on Liberation Day, where none other than King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima sang along to his song.

Claude is now expanding his own success internationally, because 'Ladada' has been released in English-French under the name 'Ladada (Mes Dernier Mots)' in addition to the fully French version. This version of the song has now been released in more than fifteen countries. Claude has been to Germany, Belgium, France, Greece, Monaco and Italy for promo’s, which shows how popular the young singer is. In Italy, 'Ladada (Mes Dernier Mots)' has even been at number one in the Shazam Top 200 and is still one of the most played songs on the radio. This is certainly not the only country were Claude’s single is getting radio support. The song is in the Airplay Charts Top 10 in Greece and Belarus and in lots of other countries it has climbed to a place in the Airplay Top 100. That 'Ladada (Mes Dernier Mots)' is being played heavily on the radio, and the fact that it has been added to some major playlists on Spotify, has resulted in millions of extra streams.
